
The Open Doors shelter is a residential program designed to support individuals who are experiencing homelessness. The program focuses on helping participants become financially stable and self-sufficient in-order to successfully transition to long-term, stable housing (including to our residential community).
Each guest is provided with a bed, bedding, a dresser, food and personal hygiene products at no cost.
Criteria:
- experiencing homelessness
- 30 days clean and sober and actively working a program (if applicable)
- actively seeking employment or working a minimum of 30 hours per week
Requirements:
- proof of active job seeking
- budget every pay period and saving a minimum of 30% from each paycheck towards future stable housing
- participate in daily chores
- abide by the 9:30pm curfew (does not apply to guests who work during that time)
- responsible for signing in and out
- follow all house rules
- provide proof of NA/AA meeting attendance (if applicable)
